Mabon:
Metro Detroit Permaculture Collab
Potluck - Free Community Event
Join us with the Metro Detroit Permaculture group as we mark the Autumn Equinox: the seasonal pivot point when day and night balance and the growing season hands off to harvest, storage and rest. It's a fitting moment to gather and share what the land has given this year.
Bring a dish made from what you grew, gathered, foraged or preserved this season. We'll eat together and trade seeds, cuttings and root divisions. We'll swap stories about what worked (and what didn't) this growing season, then wind down the evening around a bonfire as we look ahead to fall planting, cover cropping and winter systems planning.
What to bring:
-A potluck dish featuring homegrown, foraged or preserved ingredients.
-Seeds, cuttings or divisions to trade.
-A camp chair or blanket for fireside seating.
-Layers. Evenings are cooling off fast this time of year. Come share the harvest and connect!
